Role: Associate Director Process Engineering for Small Molecule APIs at Lilly's new Houston manufacturing site, overseeing process engineering to support GMP small molecule production. Responsibilities: build and lead the process engineering team during startup, develop business systems and SOPs, ensure technical and operational excellence, oversee staffing, resource planning, and compliance, and collaborate with project teams to deliver a high-quality, GMP-compliant manufacturing facility. Post-startup, provide technical oversight, manage deviations and change controls, review documentation, and influence the technical agenda. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, 3+ years' GMP manufacturing experience in small molecules, leadership experience in manufacturing operations, knowledge of cGMPs and PSM. Preferred: experience in process safety, cross-functional collaboration, team development, and working within a fast-paced startup environment.
