Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an AI-first technology strategy for the product line (build-vs-buy, model selection, capability building).
- Build reusable, scalable platforms and intelligent agents with strong security/compliance.
- Establish AI guardrails and best practices for production-grade apps in a regulated environment.
- Forecast and steward product-line budget; identify cost efficiencies.
- Establish/enforce standardized CI/CD practices across products.
- Partner with product managers/GDO stakeholders to find AI use cases that augment decision-making and automate clinical/operational workflows.
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications using Python/Java/Node.js and React.
- Build LLM-native/agentic systems as long-lived products (human-in-the-loop, monitoring, governance, continuous learning).
- Implement microservices/APIs/MCPs/event-driven processes/middleware in enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot systems/data and drive remediation and long-term strategy.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.

Requirements / Skills:
- 15+ years software engineering (Pharma/Life Sciences a plus); BS in CS/SE or related.
- Track record delivering complex solutions in regulated, agile environments (SDLC).
- Experience with Generative + Agentic AI (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AWS Bedrock, etc.).
- Strong Python and React; Java/TypeScript familiarity.
- REST APIs, MCPs, FastAPI, workflow automation.
- AWS services: Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Bedrock, SageMaker.
- SQL/NoSQL analytics and strong problem-solving.
- Matrix collaboration, communication, and consensus-building.
