Role Summary

Associate Director to lead day-to-day operations of global End User Compute (EUC) platforms focusing on high-quality end user experience. Drive operational excellence, governance, offshore delivery, and future EUC strategy in an AI-enabled environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of global EUC platforms, ensuring reliability, end user experience, compliance, and performance across workstation and mobile environments.
  • Manage and optimize technologies including Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Nexthink.
  • Oversee offshore delivery teams, ensuring accountability, quality, and timely execution of tasks.
  • Collaborate with engineering and information security to align operations with roadmaps.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in EUC services, integrating emerging technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies across EUC platforms.
  • Partner with Clinical, Research, Commercial, and Corporate functions to deliver exceptional employee experiences.
  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and vendor management for EUC operations.
  • Champion change management and foster a culture of agility, AI innovation, and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Deep technical expertise in workstation platforms and endpoint management tools (Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Nexthink).
  • Proven leadership in managing large-scale, regulated IT environments, preferably in life sciences or biopharma.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and adapt to emerging technologies, especially AI-driven trends in EUC.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, data privacy, and security standards.
  • Experience leading offshore teams and managing global operations.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Skilled in project management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or relevant experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in regulated industries (biotech, pharma, healthcare) strongly preferred.
