Associate Director (Analytics Leadership) – Business Evolution Strategic Development (BESD)

Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and execution of analytics (hands-on) to inform market access strategies, price reform, and policy analysis; provide actionable recommendations to AbbVie leadership.
- Identify payer opportunities/threats using deep-dive analytics (Follow the Dollar, claims analysis, scenario modeling).
- Collaborate with Government Affairs, Finance, Legal, Corporate Affairs, Brand, and Market Access.
- Communicate complex findings and insight-driven narratives to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor external environment and translate political, regulatory, legislative, and commercial trends into strategic recommendations.
- Advise on analytics infrastructure enhancements to drive business impact.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree (MBA or related business/science) preferred.
- 10+ years hands-on analytical/insights experience in healthcare (pharma, consulting, government affairs, market access, public policy, etc.).
- 5+ years hands-on analytical/insights experience in pharmaceutical market access; deep understanding of Health Plans, PBMs, Hospitals, Specialty Pharmacies, and healthcare policy stakeholders (e.g., Medicare, Commercial).
- Strong business acumen, strategic/analytical thinking, and executive presence.
- Exceptional communication and influencing; able to distill complex information.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to work in dynamic, collaborative environments.

Preferred:
- Experience in policy shaping, price reform strategy, and enterprise-level stakeholder partnership.
- Proficiency with pharmaceutical data sources (formulary, claims).
