Associate Director, Early Pipeline, Patient and Market Access (Cambridge, MA)
How you will contribute:
- Develop and maintain US market access strategy for early pipeline assets; embed payer/pricing/distribution/patient access perspectives into development.
- Define and pressure-test market access assumptions (pricing, GtN elements, distribution, reimbursement, coverage/approval uptake) to inform investment, revenue forecasting, and demand planning.
- Identify value-evidence gaps and ensure clinical plans generate data for future payer negotiations and coverage.
- Generate insights with Global Market Access and SPD NPP (primary research, secondary analytics, advisory boards).
- Represent US in global product investment forums; provide US competitive/access perspective and study design needs.
- Create briefing materials/white papers/strategic recommendations for pipeline prioritization and investment.
- Build external partnerships and market access intelligence; conduct partner research/outreach; manage selective execution.
- Prepare leadership materials; support governance forums (BRC, PRC, PAMA LT); align with cross-functional stakeholders (Clinical, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Regulatory, Finance, Commercial).
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs required; Masterโs preferred.
- 7+ years in US Market Access, Payer Strategy, Channel Strategy, HEOR/Policy, or Enterprise Strategy.
- Strong knowledge of US payer archetypes, PBMs, SP networks, employer dynamics, and access innovation models.
- Analytical and executive-ready communication/presentation skills; ability to influence in matrixed teams.
