Associate Director, DSPV Data, Technology and Innovation

Role: Associate Director, DSPV Data, Technology and Innovation, serves as the business owner for Insmed's pharmacovigilance safety systems, responsible for defining and executing the DSPV technology roadmap. Responsibilities include managing safety system vendor relationships, owning system performance and compliance, leading safety data migrations, and overseeing system development, validation, and user acceptance testing. The role also involves defining safety reporting, analytics requirements, and advancing AI use cases in pharmacovigilance, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with enterprise data and AI strategies. Collaboration spans IT, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development, and external vendors, with a focus on global PV regulatory standards (EMA, FDA, ICH). The position requires at least 7 years in biotech/pharma with PV systems experience, including vendor management, system implementation, and project management, along with a scientific or technical degree. Practical knowledge of safety data standards (MedDRA, E2B), PV regulations, enterprise BI platforms, and familiarity with AI/ML applications is essential. The role is fully remote with minimal travel, offering a competitive salary range of $164,000-$213,000 annually.
