Position Summary:
- Lead the development, design, maintenance, and support of the DocGen platform (Python/React; operates across GCP and AWS). Drive rearchitecting initiatives to ensure scalability, reliability, and optimal user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end engineering lifecycle (design, development, deployment, maintenance, support).
- Oversee rearchitecting and modernization using best practices and emerging technologies.
- Ensure security, performance, scalability, and compliance with BMS standards.
- Partner with Product, Security, and Operations to define requirements, integrations, and priorities.
- Implement CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring.
- Maintain technical documentation and conduct code reviews.
- Provide support, troubleshooting, and incident response.
- Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Explore innovative solutions to enhance document automation and user experience.
- Mentor junior and senior engineers.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years software engineering experience.
- Proven Python and React.
- GenAI application development; integrating with LLMs.
- Agentic AI workflows/applications.
- Strong GCP and AWS experience (multi-cloud); platform architecture and cloud migration leadership.
- Security, scalability, compliance knowledge; CI/CD and Agile.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational skills.
- Pharmaceutical/regulated industry preferred; global engineering teams experience desirable.
- Background in document automation/workflow systems (desired); microservices/serverless/containerized; AWS or GCP certifications; stakeholder management and change leadership.
