Associate Director/Director, Toxicology

Role: Associate Director / Director of Toxicology, overseeing nonclinical safety assessments for Beam’s gene editing and gene therapy programs from discovery through regulatory submission. Responsibilities: develop and execute phase-appropriate safety strategies, coordinate CRO activities, author safety documentation for regulatory filings, and serve as toxicology subject matter expert supporting regulatory interactions. Requirements: Ph.D. with 8+ years, MS with 12+ years, or BS with 15+ years of preclinical toxicology experience; experience with LNPs or gene therapies; strong regulatory and CRO management skills; excellent communication skills.
