Associate Director/Director, Medical Operations

Role: Associate Director/Director, Medical Operations, leading strategic planning, execution, and process improvement for Medical Affairs within a biotech focused on RNA medicines, including rare and prevalent disorders. Responsibilities: optimize workflows and systems supporting activities like publications, medical information, advisory boards, and investigator-initiated studies; manage vendor relationships, oversee KPIs, reports, budgets, and compliance with GxP and SOPs; partner cross-functionally with Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, and Patient Advocacy teams; support audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s in life sciences; 8–15+ years in Medical Affairs or Operations, preferably in small to mid-size biotech; global Medical Affairs experience, vendor management, and scaling operations expertise; launch experience advantageous. High-Value: experience in biotech environments, regulatory compliance, GxP, Medical Affairs systems (e.g., Veeva), and cross-functional collaboration. WorkSetup: hybrid in Lexington, MA.
