Responsibilities:
- Drive Pharmacovigilance (PV) partnership strategy: define PV strategy for alliance partnerships; conduct PV operational due diligence; lead negotiations for acquisitions/divestitures, co-development/promotion, clinical collaboration, distribution/promotion, and other agreements; transfer agreed elements to operations team for inclusion in PVA; author/review PVA and related documents; maintain up-to-date knowledge of GVP regulations and GPS processes.
- Lead implementation of PV partnership strategy: implement partnership strategy with accountability for alliance performance measures; develop and lead integration/transition plans through influence and project management.
- Collaborate externally and internally: review and advise on term sheet/contract development for partnerships, in-licenses, and divestitures; develop and influence relationships with external parties and Lilly cross-functional teams; serve as escalation point and communicate with alliance partners and stakeholders; train GPS representatives on due diligence themes; support audits and inspections (internal, external party, or regulator).

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, life sciences, and/or legal fields (or equivalent experience).
- Pharmaceutical industry experience; minimum 5 years in Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Business Development and/or Clinical Development.
- Experience with contracts/agreements and negotiating with external parties.
- Alliance/vendor management experience; knowledge of confidentiality and materiality.
- Cross-functional project management experience (scope, timeline, risk management, prioritization, communication planning).
