Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Digital & Web Ops Global Capability Owner to design solutions that solve business problems, providing technical insight on technology feasibility, effort, and tradeoffs.
- Translate capability roadmaps into scalable technology architectures and development plans, assessing feasibility, constraints, dependencies, and risks.
- Convert complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and executable work tasks.
Solution Architecture & Technical Delivery:
- Lead the technical team; drive work plans for building, configuration, and integration aligned to business needs and standards.
- Deliver and guide: Web CMS (Drupal), Digital Channel Enablement (e.g., SEO/SEM, social, distribution), Engagement (Salesforce Health Cloud and SFMC for Email/Text), and Patient Apps.
- Translate technical requirements into work for developers; lead agile ceremonies; ensure disciplined execution end-to-end.
- Guide scalable, compliant digital engagement across web/CRM/patient apps; ensure standards, templates, and publishing workflows.
- Support integrations across CRM, analytics, engagement platforms, and consent systems to enable continuous optimization and end-to-end patient journeys.
Cross-Functional Technical Leadership:
- Ensure solutions meet security and regulatory requirements; organize and direct vendor partners.
- Escalate and resolve complex technical challenges across capability teams.
- Mentor engineers/developers; lead cross-team problem solving.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Leadership in designing/testing/deploying secure, compliant, scalable technology solutions.
- Deep enterprise architecture and integration expertise (APIs, data architecture).
- Experience with enterprise digital engagement architectures (web, email, media, patient apps) and governance/personalization logic.
- Ability to design compliant integrations (digital platforms, CRM, analytics, consent) and balance speed/compliance/scalability.
- Agile product team experience; lead mixed internal/vendor teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering/IS or related.
- 8+ years (post-Bachelor’s) or 6+ years (post-Master’s) in customer engagement/KOL management/event operations/patient advocacy or related pharma domains.
- 4+ years as Tech Lead/Technical Program Manager/Engineering Manager (or similar) with team leadership.
Preferred:
- Pharmaceutical/healthcare industry experience; rare disease/specialty brands; partnerships with enterprise platform or Global Capability teams.
Working Requirements:
- 10–20% travel.
