Associate Director, Digital Lab Orchestration

Role: Associate Director of Digital Lab Orchestration leading design, integration, and deployment of QC lab automation systems. Objectives: enable end-to-end digital workflows across QC operations, ensuring compliance, scalability, and real-time data flow. Responsibilities: develop scalable orchestration architecture with APIs, event-driven patterns; translate QC processes into automated workflows for sample management and result review; partner with Quality, CSV, vendors for validation and compliance (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11); evaluate and lead vendor discussions; support incident resolution and continuous improvement; assist in budgeting and vendor negotiations. Requirements: BS/BA in IT or related field, 8+ years in Information Systems/Tech, 6+ years managing teams and budgets in GMP biotech/pharma setting for senior manager level; 10+ years and 8+ years management experience for Associate Director level, including 5+ years in GMP environment; knowledge of lab orchestration platforms (e.g., Tetra Science, Scitara), IT compliance standards.
