Associate Director, Digital Knowledge Management & Data Strategy β Statistics, Data & Analytics
Position Overview
Lead knowledge management (KM) initiatives within the global SDnA organization. Design and implement systems to collect, organize, and connect technical knowledge across functions, regions, and clinical development stages; transform fragmented documentation into a structured, searchable, dynamic knowledge repository to improve efficiency, consistency, and reduce risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Vision: Own multi-year SDnA knowledge strategy; design modern, queryable, AI-navigable enterprise systems for access and secure collaboration.
- System Implementation & Optimization: Build/optimize a centralized knowledge system; ensure procedures and supporting materials are searchable by global teams.
- Ontology, Data & Process Mapping: Develop domain ontology and process maps aligned to SDnA workflows and study lifecycle; use technical tools to categorize assets, surface redundancies, map processes, and identify gaps.
- Standards & Quality: Define standards for creation/tagging/versioning/retirement; establish taxonomy/content lifecycle and automated quality checks.
- Change Management & Training: Lead adoption; develop training and support resources; promote knowledge-sharing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with statistics, data management, programming, regulatory, IT, and quality; coordinate integrations and continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement & Impact: Track usage metrics/KOIs to improve efficiency and scalability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience building scalable knowledge systems and KM standards/processes; bachelorβs degree (advanced degree a plus).
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time (no visa sponsorship).
Preferred/Additional
- Pharmaceutical/comparably regulated industry experience (~5 years) including ~3 years in a KM-focused role.
- Clinical data/analysis lifecycle domain knowledge; enterprise collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint) and Python (preferred); knowledge graph/semantic retrieval/AI approaches a plus.
- Experience with information governance; leadership/change management training (e.g., PROSCI, Six Sigma, Lean) a plus.
