Role Summary

Associate Director Digital Global Clinical Supply Chain & Process Excellence based in Lexington, MA, reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Global Clinical Supply Chain & Process Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Key user and technical support SME for Global Clinical Supply Chain applications. Strategic management of numerous key process areas and responsible for improvement.
  • Manage GCSC SmartSupplies administration and change control activities including configuration updates, change control, and validation as necessary.
  • Monitors and manages system integration with key GCSC external vendors and internal systems. Drives setup of new integrations when necessary.
  • Ensures computer systems compliance through adherence to all procedures including periodic system checks and reviews.
  • Broadly drives GCSC analytics and data architecture, in terms of developing, maintaining, improving and driving adoption. Strong development capabilities.
  • Manages development, implementation, and management of Global Clinical Supply Chain processes as they relate to systems and a broad array of digital capabilities.
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to engage with the user community to create, deliver and maintain digital reference and training material.
  • Very strong project management and meeting facilitation that persues initiatives to take advantage of new technologies including various types of algorithms, automation and artificial intelligence. Holds team accountable and provides detailed progress tracking through different visual means.
  • Broadly contributes significant ideas that can be pursued to improve operational performance monitoring via analytics, and process simplifications through digital capabilities and automations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Scientific, business or supply chain (or significant job related experience).
  • 8+ years relevant related work experience.
  • Job related experience dealing with Supply Chain operations.
  • Knowledge of, and preferably hands on experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing, clinical supply chain, and related systems (SmartSupplies, ERP, IRT, etc.).
  • Enhanced competency in project management and process analysis.
  • Enhanced experience in creative problem solving.
  • Enhanced experience in designing, maintaining, and enhancing processes.
