  • Lead analytics/AI products development and management to accelerate business outcomes for Real World Evidence and Data Science within J&J globally.
  • Apply engineering principles for data mining and visualization on EMR, registry data, and insurance claims.
  • Review, shape, and measure the business value of solutions while managing competing stakeholder priorities and ambiguity.
  • Generate real-world insights in scientific and business application areas using novel modelling and visualization solutions, including application of specialized approaches in classification, regression, clustering, NLP, image analysis, graph theory and/or other techniques.
  • Lead the design and development of building AI ready data on top of hundreds of real-world datasets globally, to leverage cutting-edge GenAI models for complex business questions.
  • Translate unstructured, complex business problems into the appropriate data problem, model and analytical solutions across multiple projects.
  • Oversee the research and development of predictive models and computational methods to guide and influence decision-making outcomes.
  • Act as a Data Science consultant to internal business stakeholders, to streamline data-driven strategies in their business functions.
  • Provide advanced data science expertise for multiple cross-functional projects, and drive delivery of complex data science solutions that drive business value.
  • Monitor trends, standard methodology and new developments in analytics and data science to influence functional practices.
  • Collaborate across the J&J Data and AI community to develop best practices and identify cross functional opportunities that drive value.
  • Oversee partnerships with multiple third parties, academic and/or outsourced partners to shape and drive project outcomes and knowledge building.
  • Apply advanced AI-type algorithms, including machine learning techniques such as regression, decision trees, probability networks, association rules, clustering, neural networks, and/or Bayesian models.

Qualifications

  • Required: Master's degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Bioinformatics or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in an Associate Director, Data Scientist-related occupation.
