Responsibilities:
- Translate privacy, consent, and customer data requirements into commercial workflows, controls, operational processes, and guidance.
- Support operational pull-through across HCP/patient, digital, omnichannel, and third-party data activities.
- Partner with Legal/Compliance/Global Consent & Data Privacy to assess changing requirements and commercial impact.
- Maintain operational readiness as requirements evolve across jurisdictions.
- Translate engagement initiatives into data/consent/privacy/reporting requirements; support data mapping and inventory.
- Ensure data classifications, consent indicators, approved uses, and restrictions are reflected in data catalogs/docs/processes.
- Provide IT/BI&T and platform teams clear business/data/consent/privacy/reporting requirements; support consent and privacy capabilities across platforms.
- Coordinate implementation progress, identify gaps, and coordinate remediation.
- Train/communicate/document decision frameworks and operating procedures for audit-ready execution.
- Support vendor/third-party data assessments and alignment of practices with BMS requirements.
Qualifications & Preferred:
- Bachelorβs degree (Business/Law/Compliance/Information Systems/Data Governance or related); advanced degree or privacy certification preferred.
- 5+ years in privacy operations, consent management, data governance, regulatory compliance, or commercial operations.
- Working knowledge of privacy/consent/data protection for marketing, digital, HCP/patient, and third-party data.
- Experience translating requirements into workflows, controls, and system capabilities.
- Familiarity with consent management/customer data platforms, data catalogs, and digital engagement platforms.
- Cross-functional collaboration, strong analytical/communication/documentation/project coordination skills.
- Experience in pharma/life sciences/healthcare; CIPP/US or related preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Madison/Giralda and Princeton, NJ: $167,540β$203,013 (FTE). Additional incentives may apply.
