Associate Director, Corporate Compliance โ Operations
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and optimization of compliance systems, workflows, and governance structures for key operational processes (e.g., HCP engagement, external funding, fair market value).
- Advance compliance systems and data roadmap; oversee enhancements and release readiness to ensure processes remain controlled, sustainable, and aligned with business/regulatory expectations.
- Provide data governance leadership across compliance-owned systems/datasets (quality standards, definitions, documentation, control expectations) to improve reporting and analytics (completeness, accuracy, usability).
- Define business requirements for dashboards, extracts, and reporting outputs; enable day-to-day operations and compliance oversight.
- Lead third-party risk management program for healthcare compliance risk, including risk-based intake, due diligence, governance, onboarding, renewal, and termination; embed compliance controls into vendor lifecycle.
- Partner cross-functionally to influence decisions, align priorities, and drive operational improvements; handle sensitive matters with sound judgment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelorโs in business/finance/life sciences/healthcare/information systems or related + 12+ years life sciences (pharma/med device/biotech), or Masterโs + 10+ years.
- 7+ years leading compliance systems/process governance and continuous improvement (requirements, testing/UAT, implementation).
- 7+ years in data governance and operational reporting/analytics (dashboards, KPIs, data quality).
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management; project/program management; analytical/problem-solving; executive-ready communication; MS Office; knowledge of relevant compliance laws (e.g., Anti-Kickback, False Claims Act, FCPA, state price transparency).
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masterโs in related field.
- 7+ years third-party risk program and/or embedding compliance controls into vendor/procurement processes.
- CHC (or equivalent) healthcare compliance certification.
- Working knowledge of AI governance and basic AI tool use.
Benefits/Compensation
- Salary range: $145,500โ$205,000.
