Responsibilities:
- Conduct non-interventional research projects using retrospective data to support RWD Analytics customer needs.
- Support protocol development, identify appropriate data sources, execute protocol-related programming, analyze and summarize data.
- Collaborate with customers to present results; communicate project status and results to stakeholders.
- Engage customer teams on protocol development, statistical analysis, interpretation, and strategic direction of messaging and research needs.
- Provide scientific leadership for health and economic outcomes research using non-interventional methods.
- Execute research projects across the customer team and mentor staff in job performance skills.
- Assess the environment and analytical tool set to ensure current needs are met and future needs communicated to the RWD Analytics Data Development team.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Director, RWD Analytics.
Requirements (Qualifications):
- Master’s in biostatistics, epidemiology, or related quantitative research field; PhD preferred.
- 5–7 years in pharmaceutical outcomes research, pharmaco-epidemiology, health services research, or related field.
- 4+ years using large retrospective data sets for epidemiologic/economic research in oncology/hematology.
- 4+ years statistical programming with R/SAS.
- Experience with protocol development and execution for health/economic outcomes research.
- Strong writing and oral presentation skills.
- 3+ years project leadership experience preferred.
- IHD (Instant Health Data) or similar platform knowledge (nice to have).
- Skills/tools: SAS, SQL, R, Java, Matlab, C++, Python; methods include predictive modeling, decision trees, clustering, data mining, genetic algorithms, machine learning, active machine learning, Bayesian optimization.
Compensation:
- Remote (United States): US $167,540–$203,013; incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available (based on eligibility).
