Position Summary
- Associate Director, Continuous Improvement Engineer (MPS Lead – FLEx Sterile): Senior Production System (MPS) leader responsible for directing, governing deployment, and sustaining MPS across Clinical Pipeline FLEx Non‑Sterile, FLEx Sterile, and Sterile Liquid Processing (SLP) operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and execute enterprise MPS deployment strategy aligned to business priorities (FLEx and SLP).
- Establish/govern MPS standards, deployment sequencing, and sustainment expectations across FLEx Sterile.
- Own and prioritize the continuous improvement portfolio; ensure measurable, sustained business outcomes (safety, quality, delivery, cost, people).
- Monitor CI progress, escalate risks, and course-correct.
- Coach and develop senior leaders, MPS Leads, and teams to operate the management system independently; mentor/escalation for complex system and cultural challenges.
- Lead enterprise change management for MPS adoption; address systemic/behavioral barriers and reinforce MPS mindsets and accountability.
- Act as primary MPS thought leader; integrate MPS into strategy/capital planning/future-state designs; represent group in MPS forums and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science/Operations or related field.
- 5+ years in manufacturing/operations/operational excellence or MPS/Lean leadership.
- Enterprise-scale MPS/Lean deployment experience; proven ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Advanced degree; Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Lean Management Systems, structured problem solving, coaching/facilitation, change leadership; gemba-to-executive capability; pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
