Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the continued evolution of the consumer strategic and tactical plan development for the Rinvoq RA and GCA indications
- Collaborate with external agencies, internal partners, and leadership to build, manage, and execute marketing and media plans to achieve business objectives
- Manage strategy and project development of DTC advertising for brand awareness, acquisition, and conversion across channels (e.g., CRM, in-office, print, SEM, digital media, mobile, and video including broadcast TV)
- Ensure integration and consistency of consumer strategies and regulatory compliance with promotional material (with Public Affairs, Professional Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, Medical, Project Management, and external agency partners)
- Provide leadership, direction, and development for direct reports
- Use data-driven insights to understand consumer marketing trends and apply them continuously
- Lead competitive assessment and implications relevant to specific indications and patients
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness through measurement, metrics development, ROI, and brand objectives
- Develop content for and present to executive leadership
- Improve patient experiences and help patients better manage conditions
- Grow brand/product penetration, share, awareness, and requests
- Track and manage the marketing budget
- Consistently execute multiple marketing projects on time

Qualifications:
- BA/BS required; MBA preferred
- 8+ years of marketing experience, heavy media experience (including digital); broadcast and media planning leadership experience preferred
- Core marketing competency (creative development, positioning, optimization across the marketing mix)
- Proven ability to lead/influence cross-functional teams; timeline and budget management
- Understanding of medical/clinical aspects of pharmaceutical products and application to marketing
- Success in a matrixed organization; experience leading/supporting strategic and tactical planning
- Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation) and people skills
- Familiarity with field travel and patient immersions to pull insights into execution
- Experience managing multiple external agencies (advertising, digital, database) and internal cross-functional partners
- Understanding of social media platforms
- Ability to influence senior management; balance analytical capability with creative vision
- Strong planning/organization; diligence, execution, follow-through; demonstrated high performance
