Associate Director - Computational Biology (Cardiovascular, Metabolic, Obesity and Related)

What You Will Do
- Develop biomarker analysis plans to support precision medicine, evidence generation and reverse translation during clinical development.
- Define and execute biomarker data analysis workflows integrating multiple omics, imaging and digital biomarkers with clinical metadata and outcomes.
- Lead analysis and interpretation of clinical biomarker data from metabolomics, imaging, flow cytometry, immunoassays, transcriptomics, proteomics, and spatial omics.
- Support evidence generation for target engagement evaluation, patient stratification, response prediction, indication selection, assay development, and diagnostic development.
- Extract biological insights from high-dimensional datasets with clinical scientists/biomarker leads and integrate into translational analytics and clinical development plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to manage data integration, analysis, and presentation.
- Support internal/external presentations and publications with fit-for-purpose analysis insights.

What We Expect Of You
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree (and relevant post-doc where applicable) + 4 years scientific experience OR Masterโ€™s + 7 years OR Bachelorโ€™s + 9 years.

Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in Bioinformatics/Mathematics/CS/Computational Biology/Data Science with minor/strong Biology background.
- Cardiovascular disease, obesity/chronic weight management, and other metabolic disease background.
- Hands-on statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI on clinical biomarker/efficacy data.
- Strong clinical statistics skills; proven multi-modal, multi-dimensional, large-scale biological data expertise.
- Matrixed biotech/pharma experience; R and Python; data manipulation/visualization.
- Familiarity with agentic frameworks; ability to automate day-to-day tasks.
- Experience with clinical biomarker research platforms (e.g., pathomics/cytomics, immunoassays, mass spectrometry, metabolomics, NGS, proteomics).
- Knowledge of inflammatory/cardiovascular/metabolic diseases and how comp bio drives drug discovery.
- Translate biological/medical questions into actionable analytical models.
- Excellent written/oral communication and project management; leadership.
