Associate Director, CMC Technology Delivery

Role: Associate Director, CMC Technology Delivery at Alnylam, leading digital transformation and innovation across CMC functions to optimize process sciences, analytical sciences, and program management from preclinical to commercial stages. Responsibilities: define and execute digital strategies, implement lifecycle digital solutions in regulated GxP environments, enable AI/ML capabilities for faster regulatory filings and process insights, collaborate with internal teams and external partners for system integration, data governance, and process data management; oversee end-to-end application lifecycle, ensure compliance, and lead cross-functional teams. Requirements: Bachelor's in Science, Engineering, IT or related; 10+ years in CMC, Process Engineering, or IT roles within biopharma or life sciences, with experience in regulatory processes, data systems, validation, and GxP compliance; strong stakeholder management and leadership skills; familiarity with SDLC, system integration, and digital tools. Preferred: Master’s/PhD, knowledge of APIs, Agile methodologies, AI/data architecture, and emerging digital technologies; 10% travel may be required. High-Value: biopharma (RNAi therapeutics), CMC digital transformation, regulatory compliance, GxP, process and analytical sciences, system integration, and AI/ML deployment. Work Setup: hybrid role based in Cambridge, MA, with onsite presence 3 days/week.
