Associate Director, CMC Project Management

Role: Associate Director, CMC Project Management, supporting the Product Development/Technical Operations function for XP-8121. Responsibilities: develop and manage integrated project plans for drug substance, drug product, device, and analytical development; track progress, mitigate risks, coordinate external manufacturing partners, and ensure milestones are met within scope, budget, and timelines. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including CMC, regulatory, and clinical development, providing project oversight and strategic communication. Requirements: bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field; 7+ years in CMC project management, with experience in Phase 3 development programs preferred; proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com). High-value: focus on CMC development activities, external manufacturing, risk management, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, and hybrid work model based in Chicago with occasional travel.
