Role: Associate Director, Clinical Science (Autoimmune) at Xencor, focusing on clinical development in IBD and autoimmune indications. Responsibilities include designing clinical trial documents, coordinating with Clinical Operations to execute trials, reviewing and analyzing clinical data, providing scientific expertise and safety monitoring, and supporting regulatory and publication activities. Qualifications: BS in life sciences required; PhD, PharmD, RN, or MS preferred, with 10+ years in pharmaceutical clinical development, including at least 2 years in autoimmune or IBD areas. Experience in data review, safety monitoring, protocol development, translational medicine, biologics, and early-phase trials is preferred. Skills include proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Medidata RAVE, Spotfire), strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to work independently. The position requires occasional travel, primarily between Pasadena and San Diego sites. Work is generally remote or hybrid. High-value biopharma specifics: focus on monoclonal antibody biologics, immunotherapy, randomized placebo-controlled trials, and clinical phases from early to late-stage development.
