Role: Senior scientist specializing in clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics to advance Bausch + Lomb's ophthalmic pipeline, including dry eye, glaucoma, and retinal disease. Responsibilities: lead PK, PD, ADME, modeling, and nonclinical studies; develop strategies for candidate selection, first-in-human, and lifecycle management; contribute to regulatory submissions and communications; oversee project timelines and cross-functional collaboration; evaluate and interpret pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data; support regulatory interactions and author regulatory documents. Requirements: PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or related field; 6+ years’ experience in pharmacokinetics, pharmacometrics, or systems pharmacology; expertise in ocular drug development, topical/ocular PK, and modeling software (e.g., NONMEM, Phoenix, R). Preferred: experience with ophthalmic products, regulatory pathways (505(b)(2), ANDA), and across development phases from discovery to Phase 3.
