Associate Director, Channel & Pricing Strategy

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop channel-specific and portfolio contract strategies aligned with Business Unit sales goals and customer needs; coordinate cross-functionally (Sales, Marketing, Medical, Managed Care).
- Create analytics-driven contract strategies.
- Support market access strategy for inline and pipeline products via pre-modeling scenarios (market/competitor analysis, stakeholder and pricing/channel research).
- Use analytics and modeling to support long-term access goals.
- Partner with Trade Operations and Managed Markets Finance to ensure financial/data integrity and proper data flows between the company, distribution/GPO accounts, and trade partners.
- Develop/disseminate distribution modeling, analytics, and reporting.
- Help resolve pricing and access issues using knowledge of Novartis, wholesaler, and GPO contracts/systems.
- Understand government pricing implications for discounting strategies.
- Serve as SME for GPO/distribution network for inline and launch products.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required; MBA, Health Policy, or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ yearsβ experience (Finance, Consulting, Pharmacy, Market Access, or Business Development) with focus on pharmaceutical distribution or GPOs.
- Strong knowledge of US healthcare economics, pharmaceutical pricing/reimbursement, and distribution processes.
- Ability to articulate and negotiate deal terms; strong contract process, negotiation, and forecasting skills.
- Deep understanding of the US pharmaceutical value chain; ability to navigate change.
Desirable Requirements:
- Prior consulting experience.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Salary range: $160,300β$297,700/year; performance-based cash incentive; possible annual equity awards; comprehensive benefits and time off.
