Associate Director, Channel & Pricing Strategy

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Director, Channel & Pricing Strategy to develop channel- and portfolio-specific contracting strategies aligned to Business Unit sales goals and customer needs; coordinate cross-functionally (Sales, Marketing, Medical, Managed Care).
- Develop analytics-driven contract strategies.
- Support market access strategy for inline and pipeline products using pre-modelling scenarios (market/competitor analysis, stakeholder research, pricing/channel research).
- Use analytics and modeling to support long-term access goals.
- With Trade Operations and Managed Markets Finance, ensure financial/data integrity and adequate data flows between the company and distribution/GPO accounts.
- Develop and disseminate distribution-related modeling, analytics, and reporting.
- Address pricing and access issues with internal/external partners using knowledge of wholesaler and GPO contracts/systems.
- Understand government pricing implications on discounting strategies.
- Serve as subject matter expert for GPO/distribution networks for inline and launch products.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required; MBA, Health Policy, or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ yearsβ experience focused on Finance, Consulting, Pharmacy, Market Access, or Business Development, with emphasis on pharmaceutical distribution or GPOs.
- Strong knowledge of US healthcare economics (pricing/reimbursement) and distribution processes.
- Ability to articulate new/revised deal terms; strong contract process, negotiation, and forecasting skills.
- Deep understanding of the US pharmaceutical value chain and business processes.
- Ability to navigate change.
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous consulting experience preferred.
Logistics:
- Remote within the U.S. (restrictions may apply by legal entity); up to 25% travel.
