Responsibilities:
- Partner with Director/VP-level stakeholders to develop category-specific procurement strategies.
- Contribute to a comprehensive annual strategic plan for the category aligned with business goals.
- Provide insights and market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making; stay current on industry trends and market dynamics.
- Manage strategic value drivers with key suppliers to secure collaborative partnerships that deliver cost savings, process optimization, and procurement value.
- Manage and monitor supplier performance on sustainability and ESG measures; support sustainable and responsible sourcing.
- Enable Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategies and drive supplier innovation for long-term business needs.
- Implement procurement risk mitigation strategies and ensure process/policy compliance.
- Lead project management from initiation to completion with cross-functional teams for category projects.
- Identify process optimization opportunities and use data analytics to build continuous improvement programs.
- Support end-to-end procurement from sourcing strategy through contract negotiation and execution.
- Partner early with R&D and Operations to align procurement with functional priorities, balancing business needs, risk, cost, quality, and speed.

Qualifications:
- Expertise in category management, including market analysis, cost engineering, and financial assessment.
- Assist with negotiation and bidding; manage complex projects with effective change management.
- Build and manage collaborative supplier relationships.
- Innovative problem-solving with solution-oriented mindset and influential communication.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence in a matrixed organization.
- Executive functioning abilities and autonomous work ethic.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering (Masterโ€™s preferred).
- 10+ years in procurement, supply chain, or related business/operations.
- Experience managing procurement teams and leading supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Power Platform).
- Pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred.
