Associate Director - Capital Projects Procurement Leader

Role: Capital Project Procurement Leader supporting manufacturing capital projects with a focus on automation, construction, engineering, and equipment sourcing, primarily in the US and Puerto Rico. Responsibilities: develop and execute sourcing strategies for large-scale ($100M+) projects, lead supplier evaluation, negotiate agreements to minimize costs and risks, manage supplier relationships, and identify cost savings of $10M+ annually. Oversee procurement for mega projects, ensuring adherence to global procurement procedures and competitive sourcing. Requirements: Bachelor's in Procurement, Engineering, or related field; 7+ years of major capital project experience, with proven expertise in engineering and construction services, capital equipment, and commissioning. High-value specifics: support for mega projects ($500MM+), experience in life sciences process plants preferred, and familiarity with SAP/Ariba. Skills: strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities; certifications like CIPS, IIPMM, or ISM preferred. Additional: ability to travel 10-25%, based in Indiana, with experience in large-scale pharma manufacturing projects. Collaboration with internal clients and suppliers to ensure project success.
