Associate Director, Business Integrator

Responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders (Commercialization, Technical Operations, Supply Chain, Operations, External Manufacturing, Business Affairs, Product Franchises, Procurement, Safety, Digital Manufacturing Division) and other company groups.
- Work with clients to define business opportunities/needs, translate them into requirements and boundary-condition options, evaluate risks/priorities/tradeoffs, and propose justified business options that maximize ROI/asset value.
- Coordinate with Technology Center Lead and Regional Delivery Leads to explore site, technical, manufacturing process, and capital phasing options before business case review.
- Drive accountability through the business case review stage gate via the Capital Management Process; lead cross-functional project teams during FEL-0 and FEL-1; establish and communicate project boundaries at kickoff.
- Build trusted relationships to help business areas build business cases and gain alignment/approval.

Qualifications:
Required:
- BS in Engineering/Applicable Science (chemical/Bioengineering preferred) + 7 years; OR MS + 5 years; OR PhD + 2 years.
- Capital projects experience: engineering design or execution for manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated leadership; excellent communication/interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of manufacturing network capability/capacity and pharmaceutical development/manufacturing/operations/maintenance.
- Collaboration with client orgs (e.g., Supply Chain, Program Mgmt, Commercialization, Tech, Technical Ops, Quality, EHS, Digital Manufacturing).
- Project management excellence; manufacturing strategy knowledge; lean design/delivery and standard work; experience in ambiguous environments.

- Business case development, capital project management, cross-functional leadership, decision-making, analytical data analysis, digital manufacturing, engineering design, lean design/manufacturing/product development, manufacturing scale-up, risk assessment.
