Role Summary
As an Associate Director, Pain Marketing, you will lead the development and execution of brand strategy and operational plans to optimize sales, market share and revenue growth for RELISTOR. You will oversee professional (HCP) and consumer (DTC) marketing initiatives, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and manage budgets to maximize brand investments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute on professional (HCP) and consumer (DTC) marketing strategies aligned with brand strategic imperatives
- Evaluate and evolve creative campaign and core messaging through cross-functional collaboration
- Lead development, execution, and measurement of brand tactics for HCP and DTC campaigns
- Drive strategic innovation for Media/MMX along in-house and agency partners
- Act as key Sales Force partner and drive execution of tactics through field collaboration
- Develop and optimize programs that drive fulfillment (e.g., Hub Services, Patient Support Programs, Field Reimbursement Team)
- Collaborate with external partners to implement, launch and evolve AI dynamic call plan capabilities to enhance brand performance
- Lead annual brand/business planning (strategy and execution)
- Assume ownership and accuracy of brand budgets on a monthly basis to reallocate where necessary to maximize brand investments
- Provide strategic direction to agencies to optimize marketing mix, balancing return on investment and impact to the brand
- Effectively navigate roadblocks with internal teams to execute initiatives and ensure seamless execution
- Monitor brand performance, competitive environment and customer base to identify needed changes to strategic direction or tactical implementation
- Partner with Sales Training to inform product training and education
- Demonstrate high energy and urgency to execute
- Apply strong understanding of marketing principles and execution to drive results
Qualifications
- Required: Minimum of 8 years experience, 5+ years of US pharmaceutical marketing
- Preferred: MBA or related Masters Degree
- Preferred: Experience leading digital projects
- Preferred: Previous experience in GI
- Preferred: Previous experience in sales, sales management, or account management
- Required: Demonstrated success in working with matrix teams
- Required: Excellent quantitative abilities and excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Required: Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnose business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans to achieve business results in a self-directed manner
- Required: Exceptional time management, planning, organizational, selling and negotiation skills
- Required: Ability to work across a matrix organization with strong collaboration skills to support the co-promote efforts
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Business related discipline)
- MBA or related Masters Degree preferred

- Travel: 25% travel is required
- Hybrid work arrangement; based at the head office in Bridgewater, NJ
