Role Summary

Associate Director, Brand Marketing. Join a global diversified pharmaceutical company focused on delivering better health outcomes. Responsible for developing and executing brand strategy and operational plans to optimize sales, market share, and revenue growth for RELISTOR.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute professional (HCP) and consumer (DTC) marketing strategies aligned with brand imperatives
  • Evaluate and evolve creative campaign and core messaging through cross-functional collaboration
  • Lead the development, execution, and measurement of brand tactics for HCP and DTC campaigns
  • Drive strategic innovation for Media/MMX with in-house and agency partners
  • Act as key Sales Force partner and drive execution of tactics through field collaboration
  • Develop and optimize programs that drive fulfillment (e.g., Hub Services, Patient Support Programs, Field Reimbursement Team)
  • Collaborate with external partners to implement and evolve AI dynamic call plan capabilities to enhance brand performance
  • Lead annual brand/business planning (strategy and execution)
  • Manage brand budgets on a monthly basis and reallocates to maximize investments
  • Provide strategic direction to agencies to optimize marketing mix; balance ROI and brand impact
  • Navigate roadblocks with internal teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Monitor brand performance, competitive environment, and customer base to identify necessary adjustments
  • Partner with Sales Training to inform product training and education
  • Maintain high energy and urgency to execute
  • Apply strong marketing principles and execution to drive results

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Pharmaceutical marketing with analytical and conceptual abilities
  • Ability to uncover customer insights and translate into brand strategy and programs
  • Ability to lead and collaborate across multiple internal stakeholders and vendors
  • 25% travel required

Experience / Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Business related preferred)
  • MBA or related Masters preferred
  • Minimum 8 years experience, 5+ years in-house US pharmaceutical marketing
  • Experience leading digital projects preferred
  • GI experience preferred
  • Sales, sales management, or account management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success working with matrix teams
  • Excellent quantitative abilities and strong communication skills
  • Analytical and critical thinking to diagnose business issues and adjust marketing plans
  • Strong time management, planning, organizational, selling, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work across a matrix organization with strong collaboration for co-promote efforts
  • Hybrid work capability from headquarters in Bridgewater, NJ

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Business related). MBA preferred.
