Associate Director, Biostatistics

Role: Associate Director, Biostatistics, leading statistical activities in clinical trials for Jazz Pharmaceuticals' oncology and neuroscience pipeline. Objectives include designing, analyzing, and reporting Phase I-IV studies, developing statistical strategies, and supporting regulatory submissions. Responsibilities involve collaborating with cross-functional teams on study design, creating analysis plans, interpreting data, and overseeing external vendors and team development. Qualifications: PhD in statistics, mathematics, or related field with over 4 years (PhD) or 6 years (MS) of experience in clinical trial statistics, with expertise in oncology therapeutic areas. Skills include proficiency in SAS/R, deep knowledge of trial design, statistical methods, regulatory standards (ICH, CDISC), and experience with NDA/BLA submissions. Preferred: oncology/hematology focus, Bayesian/adaptive design experience, strong leadership, and communication skills. Work setup is remote, with a focus on supporting global development projects, and may involve cross-functional interactions with data management, clinical, and regulatory teams.
