Role Summary

BI&T, Commercialization Gross-to-Net Product Manager at Bristol Myers Squibb, accountable for supporting the strategic planning, design, integration and delivery of digital capabilities to enable gross-to-net solutions in the US. The role drives strategic partnerships with Global MAx and GTN Finance to identify digital capabilities, build business cases, set expectations, and ensure IT resources are engaged to achieve business outcomes. This position impacts BMS Global market access programs through the effective use of technology to bring key products to market.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the delivery, enhancement, and lifecycle management of gross-to-net digital solutions
  • Responsible for strategic planning, integration and implementation of digital capabilities related to gross-to-net (e.g., Anaplan, PowerBI) with focus on enablement, speed, simplification, and improved outcomes
  • Develop long-term (3–5 year) roadmaps identifying digital capabilities with the greatest impact on gross-to-net
  • Foster innovation to reduce manual effort through automation, AI/ML, and external partnerships
  • Provide reliable, adaptable, accessible, and secure digital capabilities; embed operational excellence, cybersecurity and resilience with data analytics in collaboration with third-party risk management
  • Develop comprehensive business cases to support outcomes of new/upgraded digital capabilities
  • Communicate, implement and operate the Digital Capability Governance process; identify high-value differentiating capabilities when selecting digital platforms
  • Partner with business units and internal IT to translate business requirements into functional requirements
  • Ensure committed business outcomes of digital capabilities within the area
  • Drive adoption of digital capabilities through business process design, change management and end-user training
  • Matrix leadership of IT resources across BI&T functions to support MAX Pricing and related groups; coordinate with market teams, Country BI&T, R&D, and other BI&T Commercialization teams to identify opportunities/synergies

Qualifications

  • Required: Demonstrated strength in implementing complex gross-to-net projects
  • Required: Ability to communicate, influence and partner with business leaders
  • Required: Experience with enterprise governance operations and balancing customer responsiveness with enterprise value
  • Required: Ability to analyze complex business needs and translate into actionable strategic plans
  • Required: Proficiency with matrix management coordinating with business partners and multiple IT leaders
  • Required: Ability to conduct business process analysis and improvement, including benefit estimation and post-implementation metrics
  • Required: Ability to assess technical landscape for leading-edge solutions, build business cases with effort/cost estimates, and conduct risk assessments
  • Required: Mandatory strong gross-to-net expertise
  • Required: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to partner with Market Access, Pricing and senior leaders
  • Preferred: Strong financial experience with budget management and business-case development
  • Preferred: Experience implementing digital capabilities in the gross-to-net domain
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of agile software development lifecycle methodologies
  • Preferred: Track record of fostering a dynamic culture of innovation in matrix environments
  • Other Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 7–10 years of experience; Master’s degree a plus; strong gross-to-net business knowledge; familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry; ability to work across boundaries in a matrix; experience delivering complex systems across geographies and business units; IT management, project and portfolio assessment, planning, systems development and business case development; strong influencing skills with regional partners

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required; 7–10 years of experience; Master's degree would be a plus
