Position Summary
The Associate Director, Forecasting, US & WW Pipeline Immunology, independently develops, maintains, and delivers forecasts for one or more therapeutic areas to inform brand strategy, enterprise planning cycles, and cross-functional decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently lead end-to-end forecasting for assigned brands/therapeutic areas using transparent assumptions.
- Integrate market research, competitive intelligence, and chart audits to strengthen assumptions and contextualize outcomes.
- Support short-term (1- and 3-year) and long-range (10-year) forecasting cycles with structured, analytically rigorous projections.
- Translate complex business questions into structured forecasting analyses and scenario plans.
- Develop, maintain, and execute AI-first forecasting models (Excel-based, algorithmic, or data-enabled) with calibration, documentation, and enterprise standard alignment.
- Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity assessments to identify uncertainty drivers.
- Provide feedback to Forecasting Transformation, Data Science, and BI&T teams to improve forecasting logic, data pipelines, and assumptions.
- Ensure consistency of forecasting logic across therapeutic areas and planning cycles.
- Partner with Finance, MAx, Commercial, Pricing, Medical, and Worldwide teams to align assumptions and present a unified forecasting narrative.
- Explain forecast drivers, risks, and opportunities in cross-functional reviews from an unbiased perspective.
- Ensure forecasts reflect real-time market dynamics, competitive signals, customer behavior, access changes, and operational considerations.
- Support enterprise planning cycles (P-cycles, Budget, LTFP) with timely and accurate inputs.
- Maintain quality control across datasets, assumptions, model logic, and outputs; ensure documentation, audit readiness, and reproducibility.
- Identify opportunities to streamline forecasting tools, templates, and processes.
- Assist with model calibration/testing with Data Science, BI&T, and Forecasting Transformation teams.
- Provide informal mentorship/day-to-day guidance to analysts.

Key Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical forecasting, commercial analytics, or related quantitative fields.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proficiency in forecasting methodologies, scenario modeling, and use of pharmaceutical secondary data (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony).
- Experience developing or using Excel-based, algorithmic, or AI-enabled forecast models.
- Python or comparable analytical tools (preferred, not required).
- Strong data synthesis into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication/data-storytelling skills; able to present to cross-functional partners.
- Ability to manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment; structured problem-solving.
- Commitment to rigorous quality control, model accuracy, and methodological transparency.
- Intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for AI-first forecasting.
