The Associate Director, Neurodegeneration Pipeline Commercialization & Strategy (PCS) Analytics & Performance Excellence helps internal partners/stakeholders make informed strategic and operational decisions. Leads Global Marketing Analytics and Business Insights to develop actionable recommendations for the neuroscience pipeline based on market insights.

Key responsibilities include independently leading Business Insights planning, implementation, communication of results, and alignment of brand strategies and plans. Manages all aspects of Business Insights, including initiation of the RFP process, Vendor Selection, Study Design, Contract Execution, Budget Management, and direction on Scope of Services.

Independently leads project planning: coordinates work, sets timelines, gains cross-functional alignment, shapes conclusions and recommendations, presents interim and final results, and communicates progress/initiatives to Brand Teams, Senior Management, and/or Vendors.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as the APEX analytics lead supporting Global Neuroscience Pipeline Assets (e.g., Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease); advise Brand Leadership on brand strategy and key initiatives using data/analytics.
- Lead cross-functional business teams to make better, faster business decisions by framing/prioritizing critical brand questions.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with APEX cross-functional team, US, and Key Affiliate contacts to co-create/execute plans and ensure consistent market understanding.
- Proactively identify analytics opportunities to support current, objective, comprehensive insights.
- Lead continuous brand planning using market drivers, patient journey, competition, and positioning to enhance patient/HCP experience and address leverage points/gaps.
- Incorporate commercial competitive intelligence to anticipate competitor strategies and achieve market leadership.
- Provide insights on current dynamics and future market evolution (next 3–10 years) to guide clinical program and launch strategy development across indications.
- Lead and participate in initiatives to improve APEX data and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure APEX activities are on time, within budget, and compliant with financial and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:
- BA or BS required; advanced degree (MBA/MA/MS) preferred. Marketing research/marketing/social sciences preferred. Neuroscience experience preferred. Statistical knowledge is a must.
- 10+ years (8+ with PhD/Masters) in marketing analytics or quantitative analysis of sales/marketing information used in business plans/strategies.
- Strong knowledge of key data sources and analytics approaches; experience developing/executing global analytics and research plans; analyzing quantitative and secondary data sets.
- Excellent strategic thinking and thought leadership; strong storytelling.
- Analytical reasoning, intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and creative problem-solving.
- Experience influencing cross-functional, global, and affiliate teams.
- Experience with Analytics/Machine Learning methods.
- Advanced experience with 3rd-party pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IQVIA/SHS Sales Data: APLD, DDD, Xponent, NSP, NPA) and specialty pharmacy data.
- Ability to present effectively (verbal and written) to all organizational levels.
- Agile/nimble to changing business conditions; strong collaboration across functional groups.
