Role Summary

Associate Director, AI Tech Lead - East Hanover, NJ. Lead strategic integration of artificial intelligence into product offerings, driving generative and agentic AI initiatives to support IDS goals and deliver market-ready AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with US business partners and IDS team to understand objectives and provide tailored AI solutions
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements to assess feasibility and support prototype development
  • Build solutions and roadmaps for innovative projects with quick/agile rollout, testing, and iterative improvement
  • Create design frameworks defining application structure and component interactions for scalability and integration
  • Contribute insights to strategic reviews and apply market perspective to deepen customer understanding
  • Own the development of solution architecture to support use case prototypes
  • Collaborate with a diverse team to execute solution roadmaps and oversee AI prototype development
  • Support testing/UAT from key users/stakeholders
  • Ensure prototypes address business questions such as patient outcomes or manufacturing improvements
  • Oversee rapid testing of PoC and MVPs to reduce risk before full development
  • Articulate potential benefits of AI models to a wide range of audiences
  • Champion a culture embracing cutting-edge AI technologies and best practices

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of experience in tech development in healthcare, including full-stack development
  • Experience building relationships with stakeholders to translate AI innovations into business value
  • Proficiency in building AI product prototypes in collaboration with data science teams
  • Ability to oversee entire AI product development process and create solution roadmaps
  • Strong data analytics, AI, and machine learning background
  • Strategic planning with strong execution to drive operational improvements
  • Proven teamwork, collaboration, and people management skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, multifunctional environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical information to diverse audiences

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master of Science and/or MBA preferred
