Associate Director, Aesthetics Clinical Development

Role: Associate Director, Clinical Development, with regional/global responsibilities leading the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical trials in support of AbbVie's product portfolio, primarily in immunology, oncology, and neuroscience. Responsibilities: oversee clinical study design, ensure scientific integrity, collaborate across functions (e.g., Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Clinical Operations), and lead or support regulatory submissions and external engagements. Responsible for clinical data quality, safety monitoring, and adherence to regulatory requirements, with potential involvement in research initiatives and investigator engagement. Qualifications: advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent), 7+ years of clinical development experience, ideally with novel therapeutics in biologics, small molecules, or cell/gene therapies, and expertise in regulatory pathways (US & global). Proven ability in cross-functional collaboration, regulatory submissions, and international markets. High-value specifics: experience in late-stage development, regulatory interactions, and clinical trial oversight in areas aligned with AbbVie's therapeutic focus. Work setup: based in Irvine, CA, hybrid schedule (3 days in-office), with international collaboration and potential travel.
