Role: Health System Medical Outcomes Science Liaison (HS MOSL) serves as a field-based scientific expert for Alnylam, engaging with formulary decision makers, healthcare leaders, and clinical stakeholders within IDNs and academic health systems across the Midwest U.S. The primary objective is to provide evidence-based scientific and health economic information to support formulary, access, and clinical pathway decisions, while identifying opportunities for collaborative research and real-world evidence generation. Responsibilities include building peer relationships, delivering balanced scientific exchanges, developing strategic account plans, gathering insights on evidence gaps, and supporting value assessments and HEOR data sharing. The role involves collaboration with internal teams (Medical Affairs, Value & Access, VESt), and ensures compliance with industry regulations. Qualifications: Advanced degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD) with 5+ years of Medical Affairs experience, preferably with direct health system or IDN engagement; strong understanding of pharmacoeconomics, US healthcare ecosystems, and formulary processes; and significant therapeutic area knowledge, with rare disease experience preferred. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, be willing to travel up to 75%, and reside within the territory. High-value specifics include a focus on rare diseases, health outcomes research, and engagement with highly influential healthcare stakeholders. Location is remote within the specified territory with substantial travel requirements.
