Associate, Data Sciences II

AbbVie Data Science is responsible for generating business value from clinical trials data. The role supports program- and study-level accountabilities assigned to Data and Statistical Sciences.

Responsibilities
- Execute assigned study tasks using knowledge of clinical trial concepts and cross-functional protocol requirements.
- Coordinate with DSS and cross-functional study teams to perform assigned activities.
- Use available technology to execute assigned activities.
- Apply data standards (e.g., CDASH and SDTM) to design/develop system interfaces and end-to-end data flow.
- Support study startup, conduct, and close-out processes.
- Perform data analyses to support operational decision support.
- Support development of clinical trial application design specifications.
- May rotate through multiple DS roles to build proficiency and understanding of stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to federal/local regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, AbbVie SOPs, and quality standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems, computer science, life sciences, or equivalent (Master’s preferred).
- 2+ years in clinical research/analytics/life sciences (or Master’s with no prior experience).
- Proven contributor to initiatives and advancement (academics/internships/previous roles).
- Effective communication skills.
- Successful execution in fast-paced environments; manages multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Leadership traits and ability to influence without direct authority.
