Responsibilities include designing process experiments, supporting GMP clinical manufacturing, troubleshooting, data analysis, and process transfer activities from lab to production. The role involves supervising laboratory technicians, maintaining compliance with GMP and regulatory standards, and collaborating across interdisciplinary teams. Qualifications: BS in a scientific or engineering discipline with at least 2 years' experience in bioprocess development or cell culture, hands-on expertise in process experiments, GMP knowledge, strong problem-solving and documentation skills. Preferred: MS/PhD, experience in process scale-up, process transfer, and team management. High-value: focus on biologics and cell therapy development, GMP clinical/production support, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. Location: Berkeley, CA, with the potential for hybrid work.
