Role Summary

Associate Business Finance Partner - API. Act as Finance Partner to relevant stakeholders within the site's Finance team, using data and business knowledge to create insights that support decision-making and financial control. Establish and sustain planning, controlling, and forecasting processes for designated areas at the site, ensuring solid financial deliverables and guiding investment project economies.

Responsibilities

  • Use process area knowledge and business insights to seek improvement opportunities and solve business challenges
  • Proactively support central or local business cases and decision-making in areas of responsibility
  • Increase financial understanding across the organization by offering training and participating in cross-area processes and site visits
  • Deliver timely and solid submissions and ad-hoc requests within area of expertise
  • Ensure site financial deliverables align with HQ Finance requirements
  • Maintain financial targets through continuous analysis, follow-up, and corrective actions with production directors and CVP
  • Represent the site in financial matters as needed in central forums and work groups
  • Manage areas such as adherence to accounting guidelines, project portfolios and assets, investment budgets and reviews, BI tools, budgeting of manpower and capacity, and planning, forecasting, and financial controlling activities
  • Follow safety and environmental requirements in performance of duties
  • Other accountabilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field required with minimum two (2) years of financial analytical and financial accounting experience
  • Alternate option: Associate Degree with minimum four (4) years of financial analytical and financial accounting experience
  • MBA in finance, accounting, economics or related field preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or process with preference for pharmaceutical or other regulated industries
  • Experience with project management and project financials preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of corporate finance systems, preferably in pharmaceutical industries preferred
  • Ability to develop and manage action plans to achieve targets
