About The Role:
- Provides strategic direction and oversight of all HCP marketing strategies and initiatives for the assigned brand and identifies new opportunities.
- Member of Extended Branded promotion Leadership Team.
- Leads strategic planning for all branded promotion marketing initiatives and collaborates across multiple functional areas to ensure alignment on branded promotion objectives.
- Accountable for development, management, and execution of assigned branded promotion initiatives.
- Drives collaboration and coordination with Legal and Compliance regarding risk management for branded promotion initiatives.
- Leads collaboration across Field Medical, Field Medical Marketing, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Field Sales, Sales Training, and Commercial Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Build, develop, and coach team to support execution of overall business objectives.
- Ensure branded promotion success for HCP strategy and tactical execution.
- Execute digital strategy in partnership with the Omni Channel team.
- Ensure consistency of execution with marketing strategy across branded promotional projects/programs (e.g., national congresses, digital, non-personal promotion, Omni strategy).
- Lead branded promotion strategy planning for assigned product.
- Collaborate on formulation and execution of branded promotion initiatives as part of leadership team.
- Oversee AOR agency and other business partners for branded promotion-related projects.
- Partner with commercial team to ensure strategic alignment across stakeholder groups.
- Develop and execute branded promotion initiatives to increase awareness and adoption (e.g., educational content, print/digital materials, congress activities, other HCP initiatives).
- Use customer and marketplace insights to develop and execute initiatives; analyze market research and sales data to inform direction.
- Accountable for annual branded promotional budget; ensure expenses align to plan.
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to applicable guidance and requirements.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- BS/BA in marketing or life sciences and 10+ years relevant experience in pharmaceutical product marketing, sales, or pharmaceutical advertising agency; experience managing Agency of Record activities; CNS and/or psychiatry experience is a plus.
- OR Masterβs degree and 8+ years of similar experience.
- OR PharmD or PhD and 5+ years of similar experience.
Skills / Competencies (required or preferred):
- Internal thought leadership with technical and/or business expertise.
- Strong communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead assigned projects.
- Ability to build positive working relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors/agency partners.
- Advanced in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Neuro/psych experience preferred but not required.
