Role: Associate Border Security Analyst supporting global network security operations, primarily managing firewalls, IPS/IDS, and Zscaler platforms. Responsibilities: perform daily support for security infrastructure including Palo Alto Networks firewalls (policy management, troubleshooting, configuration), Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZCC), and related technologies; execute policy changes, troubleshoot complex connectivity/security issues using logs and diagnostics; monitor infrastructure for performance and security; collaborate with network engineering, security, and cloud teams; participate in upgrades, migrations, and emergency support; maintain documentation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree plus 2 years' experience or Master's with no experience; hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama, Zscaler products; strong TCP/IP, routing, NAT, VPN knowledge; experience with enterprise change management, troubleshooting, and security concepts; excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and support after-hours activities. Preferred: 5+ years in network security, certifications such as PCNSE, CCNA/CCNP, CISSP; experience with automation, scripting, and supporting large enterprise environments. High-Value: Focus on network security in a global enterprise, involving firewall management, Zscaler cloud security, and troubleshooting in a GxP context if applicable. Work setup: Office-based with after-hours and weekend support as needed.
