About The Role

Supports market research and competitive intelligence activities under direct supervision. Assists in gathering and organizing market research data, including helping to compile healthcare provider insights and prescription trends. Helps maintain competitive intelligence information and supports the development of market landscapes through assigned tasks. Contributes to the team's efforts in understanding market opportunities and competitive dynamics for Neurocrine's pipeline programs.

Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)

  • Market Research
    • Assists in gathering and organizing primary and secondary market research data under supervision, including helping to compile healthcare provider feedback and basic prescription data.
    • Supports the team by maintaining organized records of customer insights and helping to prepare materials for clinical development discussions.
    • Helps track and document basic market information as directed by team members.
  • Competitive Intelligence
    • Assists in monitoring basic competitive information as assigned, such as helping to track product features and clinical trial updates.
    • Supports the maintenance of competitive intelligence databases by entering and organizing routine updates for pipeline programs as directed.
    • Helps gather and organize information for competitive landscape documents under supervision.
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in life sciences and some relevant experience.
  • General knowledge of principles of new product commercialization/ new product planning.
  • Ability to work with a variety of databases and analytics solutions to conduct secondary market research and analytics.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional colleagues across the business and scientific areas of the organization and work effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or experience and begins to learn Neurocrine's business.
  • Has basic knowledge of practices and procedures within own discipline.
  • Developing skill and abilities with tools used in the job family or discipline.
  • Has conceptual knowledge of theories and practices and will learn procedures within own functional area.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Developing communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking, planning and organization skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Understands importance of meeting deadlines.

The hourly rate we reasonably expect to pay is $30.36-$42.85. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 15% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
