Role Summary
The Associate Account Executive executes the daily account activities for assigned brand(s) under the supervision of the senior account lead. This role focuses on day-to-day account and brand maintenance and supporting the tactical implementation of the strategic plan outlined by the senior account lead and the client. This role ensures client satisfaction through quality work, demonstrating the value of our partnership and services, and responsiveness to meet their business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day point of contact for the client for brand asset maintenance and lead weekly client status meetings
- Manage submissions for Veeva and review by Medical, Regulatory and Legal partners
- With manager oversight, partner with internal teams to create client deliverables from initiation to completion, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and strategically aligned completion
- Create, review, and maintain job estimates and support the maintenance of the overall brand budgets, reporting updates regularly to the senior account lead while adhering to financial and procurement protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities and be adaptable when faced with challenges
- Support the internal agency team and client in preparation for major meetings or programs/events with regular timeline/milestone tracking, logistics and resource development
- Partner with your manager to strategize on ways to improve effectiveness
- Comply with applicable corporate policies, procedures and mandatory training
- In the spirit of All for One AbbVie, communicate project, budgetary, resource or quality challenges and concerns openly with your manager
- The Associate Account Executive should have the ability to adapt to changing external influences; the ability to build relationships quickly will be an asset to your success in this role
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ yearsโ pharmaceutical advertising agency experience, proven track record of successful client service
- Software: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and relevant review platforms, such as Veeva
Education
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent business experience within the pharmaceutical or related industry
Skills
- Proficiency in impactful written and verbal communication required, solid grasp of science and healthcare, thorough understanding of promotional review procedures, adept multitasking and prioritization in fast-paced settings, meticulous attention to detail, and persistent follow-up capabilities
Additional Requirements
- Hybrid position requiring the ability to commute to the Irvine, CA office at least 3 days per week
