Associate Account Executive
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share by identifying targeted commercial and/or government physician practices, hospitals, wound care clinics, medical centers, surgical centers, and related entities within the assigned territory.
- Independently promote and sell the Companyβs products and tissues with established customers and new prospects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to minimal to moderate sales growth of existing accounts in assigned territory.
- Maintain high customer/patient satisfaction by providing the necessary time and service to accounts.
- Identify new market opportunities; implement marketing strategies and develop sales plans to penetrate targeted healthcare settings.
- Assist with selecting presentation content and conduct large group and individual presentations.
- Assist in resolving reimbursement issues for customers within established policies/guidelines.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- BS/BA in a related discipline; 2β5 years relevant experience with 1β3 years progressive responsibility, or verifiable ability.
OR
- MS/MA plus 1β3 years relevant experience (certification required in some areas).
- Prefer 3β4 years in medical device/biotechnology/tissue segments.
- Experience in high-growth organizations and relationship development.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES (required/preferred):
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to interact with all levels; influence using tenacity/diplomacy.
- Organized, flexible, multitask; strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze markets, plan sales strategies, and present clinical/scientific data to physicians.
- Proven sales results and achievement of goals; strategic selling/market analytics.
- Build a moderate-size network of healthcare provider relationships.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Customer/clinical sites and/or home office; follow dress/credentialing requirements (including up-to-date vaccines).
- Regular travel within assigned territory.
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
- $60,000β$72,000 plus commissions.
