Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Manager, Professional Education Marketing to join the Incyte Dermatology Product Strategy team. This role will focus on developing and executing peer-to-peer education strategies and speaker programs to support the launch of a specialty product in medical dermatology. The individual will be responsible for managing advisory boards, speaker training, and the creation of scientific and educational materials designed to enhance disease state and product understanding among healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience in medical education or HCP marketing for specialty products, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of the medical education plan to enhance HCP engagement and education for the product launch.
  • Develop scientific and promotional speaker decks, ensuring content accuracy, data integrity, and alignment with brand strategy and regulatory guidance.
  • Plan advisory boards (live and virtual) — including agenda development, content creation, faculty selection, and logistics management.
  • Manage the Speaker Bureau program, including speaker nomination, training, and ongoing certification.
  • Lead speaker training initiatives by developing curricula, facilitating workshops, and ensuring presenters are equipped to deliver scientifically sound and compliant content.
  • Partner with the Professional Relations team to develop and execute a conference strategy that aligns with brand objectives — including the identification of priority congresses, development of conference-specific goals, and recommendations for display presence, product theaters, and educational symposia.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Legal/Regulatory, HCP Marketing, and Compliance to ensure alignment across educational initiatives.
  • Partner with Professional Relations team to ensure conference strategy is aligned to brand objectives
  • Oversee vendor and agency partners, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of content and event execution.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, using feedback and analytics to refine educational tactics and optimize impact.
  • Stay current on scientific data, competitor programs, and market trends to inform educational strategy.
  • Ensure all materials and activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and relevant promotional codes.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred (in life sciences, communications, marketing, or related field).
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing or medical education, preferably with biologics or specialty products.
  • Strong background in speaker program management, advisory board execution, and scientific content development.
  • Proven ability to translate complex scientific information into engaging, compliant educational materials.
  • Experience working closely with Medical Affairs and Compliance teams to navigate promotional and non-promotional boundaries.
  • Excellent project management, vendor management, and budget oversight capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage thought leaders and field teams effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
