About The Role
Applies in-depth knowledge and expertise of clinical and scientific education to formulary and other access decision-makers by delivering the value proposition of Neurocrine’s Product(s) to Medical Access influencers and other stakeholders within Managed Markets, Payers, Government Programs, Managed Care/HEOR societies, LTCs, ACOs and IDNs. Provides payer and formulary clinical support to identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with managed care thought leaders to ensure appropriate access to treatment. Recognized as an internal thought leader and provides input into team strategy.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)
- Conducts formulary committee scientific presentations and leads discussions about Neurocrine products for assigned national and regional managed care accounts
- Collaborates with the Market Access team to meet information, resource, and training needs of managed care organizations
- Facilitates health economic and outcomes data generation and collaboration for pipeline products and current treatments to support product lifecycle
- Provides scientific support for HEOR internal stakeholders, consultants, and advisory board activities as needed
- Supports Directors of Field Medical Affairs teams with training, development of testimony, and other resources (as assigned)
- Coaches and mentors less experienced colleagues
- Educates internal stakeholders on MCL team roles/responsibilities/value proposition
- Trains other FMA teams in area of expertise (as assigned)
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- PhD/PharmD (or equivalent) in a health science field and 7+ years field Medical Affairs experience, including 2+ years previous MSL experience in a Managed care/Market Access role addressing scientific/clinical policy issues; and experience with health plan drug utilization decision-making (P&T, DUR, guideline panels, ICER); OR
- PhD/PharmD (or equivalent) in a health science field and 1+ years field Medical Affairs experience and 3+ years MCO experience
- Emerging as an internal thought leader; applies in-depth expertise to solve problems; manages critical projects/relationships
- Integrates business objectives and strategic direction; strong communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking, influencing
- Expertise in health economic principles and clinical trials; proven experience conducting/communicating results of clinical trials, RWE, and health economics/outcomes research
- Strong understanding of regulations and current FDA guidance for industry–managed care interactions
- Proven relationship-building and ability to identify KOLs/PBDMs
- Ability to network/partner with managed care organizations; extensive knowledge of product clinical/scientific data and managed markets

Benefits
- Annual base salary: $206,400.00–$282,000.00
- Annual bonus target 30% of earned base salary; eligibility for equity-based long-term incentive program
