- Brand Strategy: Partner in brand planning and strategic development across HCP, Patient, and Medical Marketing initiatives; transform field insights into data-driven program enhancements; manage Advisory Board execution (recruitment, facilitation, insight reporting); ensure peer-to-peer/patient ambassador program success (speaker selection/readiness/coaching, agency coordination, tracking/reporting insights, feedback-based improvements); conduct field-based market research to inform/validate brand strategy.
- Marketing Initiatives, Campaigns, and Investments: Manage assigned marketing campaigns/programs end-to-end (concept to execution, agency partners/deliverables, promotional review process); serve as liaison to aligned sales teams and educate them on brand programs.
- KOL Engagement: Develop regional business engagement plans; manage relationships with assigned HCP list (engagements, insight/sentiment gathering, network development); identify/engage emerging KOLs; secure KOL participation for congress and other programs; provide reports and synthesize insights/recommendations; share insights with Commercial Analytics; develop and execute regional insight gathering.
- Patient Engagement: Develop engagement plans; execute Patient Ambassador and Influencer programs (operations, agency management, contracting, needs assessment, content creation/management, event execution); manage relationships with patients/caregivers (engagements, insight/sentiment, network development); identify/engage patients/caregivers via data sources; secure participation; report and synthesize insights; share insights with Commercial Analytics.
- Medical Marketing: Overall responsibility for Speaker Bureau or Patient Ambassador/Influencers (nomination/selection, contracting, annual training, utilization, ongoing coaching); manage medical marketing initiatives across ideation to optimization/evolution; develop content for peer-to-peer, product theaters, patient/caregiver programs, speaker/field training, and promotional materials (flyers, RTEs, invitations).
- Field Alignment: Partner with regional field teams (Sales, Medical, Market Access) to ensure consistent brand strategy implementation; follow/evolve Field Playbook guidelines.
- Compliance: Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to applicable guidelines.
Requirements
- BS/BA in marketing, business, health policy, scientific, or related field AND 10+ years relevant pharmaceutical/biotech marketing/sales experience (strongly preferred) OR Masterβs degree AND 8+ years relevant experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge to solve problems in area of expertise; thought leadership; cross-functional initiative execution.
- Ability to integrate analysis of business objectives/strategy to recommend solutions; input into short-term strategy (and potentially long-term functional strategy).
- Strong communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking, influencing skills; ability to combine scientific knowledge with communication (strong clinical acumen).
- Strong understanding of legal/regulatory environment for pharmaceutical promotions and related compliance.
- Proven track record building cross-functional relationships (medical, legal, regulatory, advocacy, compliance, marketing, corporate communications).
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, initiative, problem solving, creativity (including product positioning/messaging).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a changing environment.
Benefits (as stated)
- Annual base salary range: $173,900.00β$238,000.00; annual bonus target 30% of earned base salary; eligibility for equity-based long-term incentive program.
